THREE QUESTION THURSDAY
SPOTLIGHT ON: FOUR OF A KIND ENTERTAINMENT LLC
Rob Patz: What made you decide to start Four Of A Kind Entertainment LLC?
Four of a Kind: Well, there’s a handful of reasons that led us down this quirky path. First, we wanted something we could enjoy as a family, and who knows, maybe even pass down to our kids – it’s like the family circus, but without the elephants. Second, we figured why not turn our passion for entertaining people into a way to pay the bills? And lastly, we wanted to offer top-notch entertainment that doesn’t empty folks’ wallets. But the best part? We get to sprinkle some stress-free magic at your events!
Rob Patz: Who is the one person that you would credit as an influence on your life and why?
Four of a Kind:
Apryl: Now, this might sound cheesy, but it’s my husband, Cluckey. He’s been in the entertainment game longer than I have, teaching me the ropes of event management, microphone wizardry, and running a business.
Cluckey: Sure, I could say a magician was my muse, but I’ve got to give it to Andy Kaufman, the comedian extraordinaire. That guy lived his art. Yet, the real influencers are my family – the fantastic four kids, my incredible wife, and even our dog (who’s surprisingly cool). They inspire me every day!
Rob Patz: What are some of your company goals in 2024?
Four of a Kind: Aside from revamping much of our Mobile DJ equipment and building a new comedy illusions show (stay tuned for some awesome news there!), in 2024, we plan to shout from the rooftops that Four of a Kind Entertainment LLC is more than just your average DJ service. We’ve got a whole list of entertainment options to serve up, from photo booth shenanigans to jaw-dropping comedy, magic, and illusion shows. Oh, and let’s not forget our Furry Overstuffed Animal Karts – because everyone needs a ride on a fluffy animal, right? We aim to be your one-stop shop for all things entertaining at your events. Plus, we’re on a mission to support fellow small businesses and communities in the Tri-State area, and hopes of expanding our FOAK progressive dinner tours to three more delightful locales!
