Indiana Tech Men’s Hockey Holds Steady at No. 12 in Second ACHA Ranking

UNION LAKE, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men’s hockey team held its position at No. 12 in the second edition of the D1 Top 25 Ranking, the ACHA released Wednesday. After starting the preseason at No. 8, the Warriors have now remained at No. 12 in both weeks of the rankings this season. Since last week, the Warriors have gone 3-0, outscoring their opponents by a whopping 26-4. Tech defeated #18 ranked Purdue University Northwest on the road and swept Cleary over two games. The Orange & Black are currently 5-2 this season and 2-0 in WHAC play.

Tech received 376 points in the poll, up from 324 in the first ranking, although they did not move positions. The Warriors come in 73 points ahead of No. 13 ranked University of Arizona and sit 38 points behind No. 11 ranked Grand Valley State University. Up next, the Warriors will face Aquinas College on the road on October 20th at 7:30pm, before hosting the Saints the following day at 5:30pm on October 21s
